01. Summary

Camify sells consumable credits used to stream AI characters in real time. Credits are activated immediately on purchase. Camify credit purchases are non-refundable, except where you have a statutory right that this policy cannot override. Rights granted to you by the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) are not excluded.

02. Statutory Cooling-off (CPA Sec 44)

If you bought credits as a result of direct marketing (an outbound sales contact initiated by Camify), you have 5 business days from delivery to cancel without reason, provided that no credits from that purchase have been used. This right does not apply to purchases initiated by you visiting the site and choosing to buy.

03. Failed Streaming Sessions

If a streaming session fails because of a Camify or upstream AI infrastructure error, the credits used for that session are automatically returned to your balance. Check your account transaction history for the credit-back record.

04. Cryptocurrency Payments

Cryptocurrency payments (Bitcoin, USDT) are non-refundable. Crypto transactions are irreversible on the blockchain and we do not return crypto to wallets for AML reasons. The credits delivered for a confirmed crypto payment cannot be reversed.

05. PayFast (Card / EFT) Payments

PayFast purchases are non-refundable outside the CPA Sec 44 statutory cooling-off window described in Section 02 above.

06. Refund Exclusions

  • Credits already consumed in a streaming session.
  • Accounts terminated for breach of our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Chargeback abuse (fraudulent reversal after credits have been used).
  • Credits forfeited by the published monthly reset schedule.

07. How to Claim a Statutory Refund

Email legal@camifycam.com with: account email, purchase date, payment method, and the statutory basis for your refund claim. We respond within 7 business days.

08. Dispute Escalation

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the National Consumer Commission. Your statutory rights under the CPA are not excluded by this policy.
